What does an Ochsner Connected Anywhere virtual visit cost?

The cost of an on-demand urgent care virtual visit with a medical provider in Louisiana is $49*. Therapy appointments are $85. The cost for each type of visit is the same even on nights, weekends or holidays.

*Price subject to insurance. An on-demand urgent care virtual visit with a provider outside the state of Louisiana is $64 (subject to insurance).

Who sees the data from my exams, and is it HIPAA-compliant?

Exam data is sent via an encrypted, secure network to your physician or the physician of your choice and is stored on our HIPAA-compliant cloud. Only you and your doctor can determine who can access your medical records.

Can I receive a prescription for my Ochsner Connected Anywhere virtual visit?

Yes. If a prescription is needed for your urgent care needs, your healthcare provider can prescribe it, and you can have your prescription delivered to your house or office if the final delivery location is within a 20-mile radius of one of Ochsner’s ten pharmacies.

Same-day delivery is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday (New Orleans only), 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
